About Denice Palanuk Wilson
Chateau d'Orquevaux International Artist and Writer's Residency accepted my application for 2 weeks residency in France in May 2024... Received Denis Diderot Artist in Residency Grant. I live in the beautiful state of Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest. I'm influenced by our rain, deep dark forests, ferns, rivers, just the outdoors in general. When hiking or camping I love to capture what I feel when I'm in nature....the quiet, the birds..the rivers, mountains... I love the Old World Masters and their way of painting; and I try to incorporate light into my paintings like the impressionist artists Renoir and Monet.
